Thanks for posting this Ray. Do we need to register in advance, or just show up the day of the event? If so, what time would you suggest if some of us would like to park together (if possible)? Thanks, -Banning.

| NO LONGER HERE... |
Also keep in mind guys this show brings a ton of cars. And it being one of the bigger shows of the season if the weather is nice ( and Ray knows this! ) it will be PACKED! So I would suggest if were gonna be together I would shoot for 5pm to be there no later then 5:30 We can line up down the street. Last show it seemed slow but then the gates of cars opened up and it got jammed packed real quick! So let's shoot for 5pm. Sometimes they don't open the lot up (NE Lincoln Merc has to move all the cars off the lot) but we can line up down the street by the WaWa. That way we can all be together!

Thanx guys, I knew my local fans would come thru.. We try to get the lot cleared off as soon as posible, but we are open until 5pm so business comes first. If it's a slow day we can get started early. Last Sept. we were ready by 5:30 and started letting cars in. If the weather is nice, I think there will be over 500 cars. Like I said in my first post, people from all over say they're coming, OH, DC, VA and so on. The best part of this is that it's for a GREAT cause. All the entry fee and 50% of the shirt sales and the 50/50 drawing goes directly to the Family Support Group of the 111th Fighter Wing of the Pa National Guard at Willow Grove Naval Air Station. This money goes to help families of troops in need. While their loved ones are away they sometimes have trouble keeping up with their bills. This money goes to help them. It helps buy school shoes and uniforms, pay mortgages and utilities. It also pays for a family day picnic at the air base. I was invited to be presented and award two years ago for running this event. It was the first family day they had in a couple of years. The money we raised help pay for it. It was a great affair and the troops couldn't thank me enough. I thanked them for keeping us free and safe. It gave me the greatest feeling in the world. Northeast Lincoln Mercury pays for the food, the employees overtime to move cars, and help out with the cruise. No money is deducted from the donations. It all goes directly to them. I hope you can attend and I'm sure you'll have a great time. Thanx, Ray |
